Shadows of Napa Valley
Finding solace in nature...
is one of my style of 'njoyin life. And of late, I've got chance to visit lot of places..in India & US. The picture on left is from Napa Valley grapeyards...we visited during my first trip to US in 2000. Equally fresh in my memories are the beautiful sky and beaches at Hawaii, we had been in the same year - courtsey SLTC record breaking IPO. Disneyland, Las-Vegas, Lake-Tao, Monetrey, Pears 39, Sosulito...mere mention of these places create nostalgic feelings in me for all the good time spent there.  Camping at Redwood forests in the company of Escon intellectuals for two full days was one of my favourite excursion and equally enjoying was the overnight camp I had with Lalit and Mohit at Hartford national park just on the river shore.
I wish to explore Himalaya's region in north and Goa and other places in middle whenever I get a chance.

Ye chirag hai meri rah ke, mujhe manjilon ki talash hai!!
Hai koi safar me jo saath de..mai ruku jahan koi haath de...
meri manjilen abhi door hai, mujhe raaston ki talash hai!!"

Heights are lovely...

If you are in Pune, you cann't resist treking. So many beautiful hills nearby. So far we have been to a number of them. Harishchandergarh was the toughest one, followed by Dakbharvi and then Rajgarh. Lohgarh, Beemashankar, Naneghat, Matheran, Tung&Tikona and ofcourse Singhgarh were not so tough to climb but nevertheless joyful. I'll say trekking has been one of my most enjoying activity in Pune. If you get a chance, do try it.

My Favorites

Talk about my interests, and there is no end. Treks, exploring places, intellectual talks, playing chess & badi and latest tt, beating guitaar or even birds watching on FC road, I can enjoy almost anything and everything.
Movies....I 'njoy simple &
comedy movies the most... Chupke Chupke, Golmaal, HeraPheri types...or anything on a romantic note (DCH, HDDCS, AHAT, KHKN, DTPH, DDLJ, TUMBIN, RHTDM and the list goes on). On serious note I like Anand, Bawarchi, Guide....In hollywood...Rush Hour was relieving and so were Hotshots. Titanic is still fresh in my mind. Chickens Run was funny. Patch Adam was inspiring and so was Karate Kids. Saving Private Ryan was awfully emotional.
Books..."The Goal" and "Critical Chain" was good on mgmt. "The road less travelled" - a spiritual kinda note. "Power of Now" is an ongoing thing something to follow with. The recent twise I am goin to read is "Mind Game".
Landmark forum had a lasting effect on me and gave me a totally new insight about life. Recommend everyone of you to attend it.
Wht else to write...lot of things coming to my mind. But I guess should stop here....
